REVIEW | INTERNATIONAL BADGE DAY

I thought about writing and different post for today, but something told me to switch it up and reflect on International Badge Day so I am following my heart.

I have only recently understood the impact of International Badge Day. I think it is a wonderful celebration to share with our sorority sisters from all over the world! I was not surprised at all when I got on Twitter yesterday morning to find my feed full of messages from inter/national organizations, campuses, and you. I was a little surprised though to discover the tweets did not end throughout the day. It is so inspirational to see your declarations of love for your sororities.

In my office today there were three of us representing three different sororities. I am reminded of our differences and what we gained from our memberships every single day, but there is something that binds us all together even though we do not wear the same badge... our Panhellenic spirit. I never would have thought three or four years ago that I would be able to realize the Panhellenic spirit. I was always so caught up in my own chapter and sorority because of the offices I held.

Today I am constantly reminded of how wonderful sorority women are because of the students I work with every day and you! It is so refreshing to get a new take on sorority through this blog. I cannot even begin to describe the enlightenment I have received on sorority from different regions. That is what I enjoy the most about International Badge Day though. Seeing the pride of Panhellenic all over the world and being reminded that I feel the exact same way.
