REVIEW | EVERYTHING I NEED TO KNOW IN LIFE I LEARNED FROM BEING IN A SORORITY

A few months ago Cheryll Duffie, the author of Everything I Need to Know in Life I Learned from Being in a Sorority, contacted me about doing a review for you all. Again with the moving problems, I finally received the book just in time for recruitment. So finally I have had enough time to recuperate and actually read through the book and let me tell you... it is perfect.

Honestly, I did not know what to expect, but the book touches on legitimate lessons learned from the sorority life. My favorite part is that the book immediately opens up by talking about all of the successes that sorority women have had. You know, overseeing Fortune 500 companies, making a name for themselves in politics and on the big screen, and doing groundbreaking research in science. I love that the stereotype is immediately dispelled.

As I continued through the book, a lot of the lessons hit home for me. I really loved the section on "The Responsibility to Represent". It is like hearing my own personal feelings voiced a thousand times better.

There are some really cute quotes and pictures all throughout, which makes it a lot of fun to read also.

How many times have we heard that last quote? I still love it because it rings so true! I highly recommend Cheryll's book to anyone looking for a good, easy read or a great gift to give your little!
