DRESSING FOR CHAPTER IN EARLY FALL

It is officially fall and we have established that many of you are already back in school. Recruitment is a thing of that past and now you get to focus on a successful school year not only for yourself, but also for your chapter. I don't know about you, but I feel so much more prepared to tackle anything whenever I feel put together. This is something I have really noticed in the past couple of weeks. I recently started a new job and one of the major differences is the dress code.

My last job wasn't incredibly relaxed, but my boss encouraged us to dress for the meetings we had so if I didn't have any meetings on a Tuesday then I could very well come in wearing nice jeans and it wouldn't be a big deal. Jeans are a big no-no in my new office. I joke that I know I am a professional now because my Chaco tan line has quickly been replaced by a Jack Rogers tan line.

With this minor change though I have noticed that productivity level has increased. I feel more driven, solve problems quicker, and communicate more thoroughly. I'm not entirely sure if it is all because of what I am wearing, but I do think it plays a role.

I think this is such a fun time of the year to get dressed up. It is starting to get cooler, but it isn't exactly fall yet. You can get by with wearing pants without looking like you will swelter or wearing a skirt without looking like you will freeze. Here are a few of my favorite looks that I think are super easy to put together!
