TRUST YOUR GUT
Recruitment is tough when you are going through the process, but the toughest part is making the decisions on which chapters you will visit the next round of recruitment and finally for the Preference round. I get questions all the time on how you make that decision. How is it possible to finally decide which sorority you want to join at the end of the week?
For some it is an easy decision. These women have known almost all week which sorority they will ultimately pref. Some of you will be torn between your two favorite sororities the entire week. Others will make it all the way to pref with no idea how they got there and no idea where to go. Ultimately, you have gotten to this point by listening to your gut. You have felt some connection with the sororities you have left regardless of the situation you are in.
At the end of the day it is a hard decision, but somewhere deep inside you know where you want to be. You may be too scared to admit it to yourself, which is completely okay to feel. Keep notes throughout the week to remind of what you love about the sororities you have left. Make a pro/con list if you have to, but do not be afraid to listen to gut again.
P.S. Here is more advice on going through recruitment.
