THE WEEKEND >>>

Free weekends are my absolute favorite, but they are few and far between these days. I ducked out of work a little early on Friday and committed to having a good weekend. I made a few plans, nothing official at all. As soon as I left work on Friday I went straight to some stores to go shopping. Here is what I have loved about this weekend:

+ I have been coveting this pair of J.Crew flats forever. I found them at Marshall's on Friday for $40!
+ I got to eat at one of my favorite college town restaurants on Friday evening with some friends. It was obviously just as good as I remembered it.
+ After waking up around 11:30am on Saturday morning, the first thing on my to-do list was to go to Starbucks. It is red cup season after all! And, I got to have my first peppermint drink of the year.
+ Bath & Body Works sent me an awesome coupon on Friday morning so I had to stock up on some Fall essentials. Leaves is a new favorite of mine. I specifically remember not liking it last year. Well, I guess our scents change because I knew I could not leave without it. I also bought a Mahogany Teakwood candle. Disclaimer: Awkward statement of the day... It smells like a man should smell in the fall. I highly recommend both of these scents!
+ I have heard a lot of really great reviews of John Frieda's Frizz-Ease Sheer Solution so I bought it thinking "Why not?" I think my life is officially changed forever. I usually curl my hair, but I like to give it a break every now and then. I now feel like I can without looking like Mia Thermopolis pre-makeover.
+ On Saturday, I asked what books you all are currently reading. My prayers were answered that evening when I found out that the third book in the Divergent series, Allegiant, has been released!! If you have not read these books, you are missing out. I highly recommend this series to anyone who liked/loved/obsessively read The Hunger Games.
+ If you follow me on Twitter, you know I have been powering through episodes of Gossip Girl on Netflix. I wanted to change it up a little on Saturday evening and started watching HBO's Girls. I have heard mixed reviews pretty much summarizing that you'll either love it or hate it. Well considering I power-watched five episodes on Saturday night (hello loneliness and DST), I would say I love it. Have you watched it before? I am definitely a Marnie though I can relate to Hannah. Haha!
