Happy Thanksgiving!!
I considered not posting anything for Thanksgiving and just taking a blogger break. However, I remembered that at some point during the day, whether it's during the long car rides or your family's post-meal naps we'll eventually find our way to a computer or phone. I also could just do the standard "Happy Thanksgiving" post and be done with it, but I decided to kick it up a notch. Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful and my sorority is one thing that I am so thankful for.
I'm thankful for my sorority for:
+ giving me the best college experience I could have asked for.
+ introducing me to so many great individuals in my chapter, my undergrad, grad school, and beyond.
+ my big sis.
+ my little sis.
+ teaching social graces.
+ giving me a set of values to guide my life.
+ helping me find pride in who I am and where I come from.
+ teaching me how handle difficult situations/people.
+ developing me as a young women.
+ giving me the ability to say that I am a feminist and the knowledge to know that is not a bad thing.
+ teaching me how to accept others.
+ having the best traditions that always make me smile.
+ giving me a lifelong membership.
