As excited as I have been for recruitment, I honestly cannot believe it is time to go back to school. The beginning of the school year is a great time to refocus on your goals or make new ones! For me, this is a weird time because it is the first time in many years that I am not starting the school year as a student. But since I work at a school, I have a lot of goals for the new year.
Between moving into my new apartment and starting my new job, I have thought a lot about the things I would like to accomplish this year. A couple of weeks ago I bought a new Lilly agenda to organize my thoughts and ideas. It is crucial for me to go into the new school year with a clear way to organize things. I also always went ahead and penciled in all of my classes and chapter meetings before I began the school year so they were already in there.
I am a huge fan of fun back to school items, too. Why go with boring when you can spice up class every day? Lifeguard Press is by far my favorite, but I am always browsing the aisles at Target for cute back to school items because they never fail!
Part of going back to school is preparing to see everyone. A lot of schools are hosting work week this week or very soon, so make sure to set aside some time to catch up with your Sisters before jumping into Recruitment and the first day of classes.
How do you get ready to go back to school?
