Summer is finally here. Most of us have been finished with classes for close to two weeks. I think I can speak for many of us and say, "Thank goodness!" The closer it gets to the end of the school year, the more anxious I get. I just want to be finished. I want to put my school books away and spend my days lost in a "fun read". I want to come home from work and not worry about finishing a homework assignment or a group project. Even if you take classes during the summer you know that summer is just better.
It seems like everything is in full swing and everyone is so much more relaxed. Taking a break these few months is refreshing. Many of you go back to school in August and must jump right in with work weeks and recruitment. I think it is important to take advantage of the lull in the summer months to spend stress-free time with your Sisters. Plan a vacation to the beach or lake, go on a road trip, or take a trip to the city. Not only will this give you something to do in your free time, but it will also help you stay connected with your Sisters. Additionally, when recruitment comes around you can honestly tell PNMs about spending time with your Sisters over the summer.
Do you have any summer plans with your Sisters?
